New at Redbox - January 2020

Joker – There’s a reason why this dark and gritty origin story quickly claimed its place among the top 5 highest-grossing R-rated movies of all time: Joaquin Phoenix’s haunting performance, which just might earn him an Oscar. 

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil – Speaking of dark movies and complicated villains, Princess Aurora/Sleeping Beauty’s (Elle Fanning) past nemesis is back and once again played by Angelina Jolie. This time, she’s not so evil, as she’s trying to stop Aurora’s soon-to-be mother-in-law (Michelle Pfeiffer) from destroying their land’s fairies. 

Zombieland: Double Tap – How happy are we to see that the whole gang (played by Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin) survived and is still kickin’ it in the zombie apocalypse? Very happy indeed. But now that the undead are starting to mutate and a few new humans have entered the picture, the fragile peace they’ve come to know over the past decade might be coming to an end.
