Sundial resort at Senibal Island

If you want to visit the shell capital of Florida then the Senibal island beach is the place to be. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful beach which was super family friendly with shells within you hands grasp.
I never saw so many different and unique shells wherever my feet touched. It was a lot of fun for me and my kids to pick them and take back home as memories.

To make the trip even more perfect we stayed at the Sundial resort which is a waterfront resort and has a bunch of daily activities for all ages. We stayed at one of their 2 bedroom luxury accommodation with the beach view and it was truly wonderful. The accommodation had everything to make you right at home. A full kitchen, washer dryer, living room, 2 bedrooms (one with king bed and other with 2 beds) and a balcony.

The property had a marketplace called Bailey’s which had all the convinient grocery items which you could buy there or even order online to be picked up or deliveredto your room-

Bailey’s did a great job to delivering items not only to my room before my check in but also arranging the refrigerator items inside.

You can indulge in a variety of their restaurants offering different cuisines. Voted Best Waterfront Dining in Southwest Florida, the Sea Breeze Café offers Gulf-front indoor and al fresco dining options with gorgeous Gulf vistas and a full-service bar. Shima Japanese Steakhouse offers an authentic Japanese experience and was named Best Sushi, Best Steak and Best Chef on the Islands. For the same award winning sushi, Shima Grab N Go offers made to order sushi and sashimi for those on the go. Turtle’s Pool & Beach Bar serves up delicious Island favorites and frosty drinks at the tiki bar and patio. Slice of Paradice invites guests to enjoy pizza, subs, hot dogs and hand-scooped ice cream.

The resort has multiple pools and spa. As a resort guest you can use kayaks, paddleboat, rent bike or take lounge chairs and umbrella free of cost. The in-resort activities also make for an interesting day.

With kids it was so relaxing to just sot by the beach, enjoy some activities and then walk back to the room to clean up and enjoy a warm meal in the room or by the waterfront at one of their restaurants.

It was one of the experiences I will not forget and truely a wonderful one.
